How Our Donation Pickup Pricing Works

Our local donation pickup services are priced primarily by the volume of items loaded into our truck, with additional factors that may apply.

At Pickup Kindly, our pricing is based on item size, weight, and the number of team members required for safe removal. Each truck comes with a 3-person crew to handle your items carefully and efficiently.

Flat Base Pickup Fee: $99

Covers the following:

  • Dispatch
  • Travel
  • Labor (for up to 3 team members)

Item-Based Pricing

  • XXL = $45.99
    Extra-extra long or oversized items (e.g., extra-long couches, oversized sectionals, large tables)
  • XL = $35.99
    Extra-large / heavy items (e.g., appliances, wardrobes, motorized recliners, large desks)
  • L = $25.99
    Standard large furniture (e.g., sectional pieces, dressers, dining tables <=6 seats, manual recliners)
  • M = $15.99
    Medium items / single-person lift (e.g., chairs, end tables, ottomans, small desks)
  • Bags & Small Boxes = $8.99
    Items safely carried by one person (e.g., clothes, kitchenware, books, small décor)

ITEM DEFINITIONS & HANDLING GUIDE

  • XXL Item: Unusually long or oversized items requiring full coordination with a 3-person crew.
    Examples: Extra-long couches, oversized sectionals, extra-large tables, large shelving units.
  • XL Item: Heavy or extra-large items requiring 2-3 team members.
    Examples: Major appliances, wardrobes, motorized recliners, large desks, dining tables (8+ seats).
  • Large Item: Standard large furniture requiring 2 team members.
    Examples: Sectional pieces (per piece), dressers, dining tables (<=6 seats), manual recliners, sideboards.
  • Medium Item: Single-person lift items.
    Examples: Chairs, end tables, stools, ottomans, rugs <=5×7, wardrobe boxes.
  • Bags & Small Boxes: Items safely carried by one person.
    Examples: Clothes, linens, kitchenware, books, small décor, small appliances.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

  1. Staircases: Charged per flight/section if items must be carried up/down without elevator access.
  2. Disassembly: Extra charge applies if furniture or appliances require tools to remove.
  3. Specialty Items: Items such as pianos, pool tables, hot tubs, walk-in freezers, or anything requiring more than 3 movers require a custom quote.
  4. Team Requirements: Light items = 1 person, Heavy = 2, Extra-heavy / XXL = 3.
  5. Safety: Items cannot be removed if property damage may occur during pickup.

Note: Sectionals are priced per piece. Standard pieces are Large; oversized or motorized pieces may be XL or XXL.

Additional Service Fees

  1. Staircase Fee: $19.99 per flight (items carried up/down stairs)
  2. Disassembly Fee: $29.99 per item (furniture or appliance breakdown)
  3. Fuel Fee: 6% of subtotal
